What they didn't survive was their greatest commercial success with the album 'The Cage'.

However, Weir, ever the optimist, formed a new version of the band to both play the old material and write songs that would represent this 'new' Tygers. The backbone of the band - Craig Ellis on drums, together with Jack Meille on vocals have now been together for considerably longer than the first Tygers and were joined by Francesco Marras on guitar and Huw Holding on bass for their 2023 album 'Bloodlines' an album that is turning up on many 'Best Album of 2023' lists.

Since their inception in early 2005, the energy and madness of Jilted Generation has torn up venues and festivals across the UK and Europe. These shows have also seen the band being included on many old skool dance events, including Fantazia, Raindance and Epidemik alongside such names as Pendulum, Utah Saints, Chicane, Ratpack, Slipmatt (SL2), Dave Pearce, Darren Styles, Andy C, Altern8, Shades Of Rhythm, Micky Finn, Darren Jay, Ratty, Billy Bunter, Sonique, Brandon Bloc, MC Bassman, MC Lenni, MC Charlie B to name just a few. On the regular circuit, Jilted Generation have been included on bills featuring The Womats, Wiley, Ultrabeat, The Yardbirds, The Animals, Bad Company, The Hollies, The Sweet, Bad Manners as well as various well known and loved tribute acts.

This tour features Grammy Award Winning Bassist David Ellefson and guitarist Jeff Young, drummer Fred Aching and vocalist/guitarist Chaz Leon.
